The information and methods from the 1950's era, we are only know sort of slowly lumbering out of to some degree.

Things that Marshall McLuhan stated and talked about, have probably been obsolete for some time. Not that they weren't/aren't effective - just what form of manipulation is being done that we aren't aware of?

Just thinking outloud this morning.

In the book (and also in the movie), there were numerous symbols of racism and white supremacy:

-ALL heros are white/arian
-Nazi symbols are shown throughout the book
-there are 3 children in halloween costumes -- one wears a white "ghost" costume reminiscent of a KKK mast (pointed top), while another is a black boy wearing a devil costume
- there is a section of the book (right after chapter 10) showing a fictional newspaper article where a strong white American hero is against several big bad villains, all of which represent a different foreign stereotype. There are white scared innocents nearby as a black woman is handing out a tray of illegal drugs.
-the only recurring black boy is shown smoking marijuana in nearly every scene he is in.
-at the end of the book, during the "Utopian" age, there is a banner in the street saying "this is the time, there are the feelings", displaying a handsome white blonde man and attractive blonde woman smiling into the bright future, suggesting that the future will be made up of attractive Arian people (essentially summarizing the Nazi vision in a nutshell).

Beyond racism, it is extremely interesting to read Adrian (notice the name -- Arian, with an added D) Veidt's story about how he came to his current position of plotting world conquest, especially his quote about "bringing an age of illumination to a benighted world". If ever there were a story and character more obviously symbolic of the Illuminati and everything the group stands for, it is Adrian Veidt in this book.

I watched this recently. Did anyone notice the text on the assassin's box which said "A New World Delivered?" Sounds like NWO to me...

Wow....unreal to the fact from the start he was telling the truth and "Big Brother" wanted to discredit him for everything! Total b.s on our government! Every time we use Google search we have become, "Under The Thumb!"
